Ukrainian Petrykivka Painting Class

The class is led by Sonia Voloshinov, a 16-year-old Ukrainian artist who has dedicated time to studying the world of Petrykivka.

This special event welcomes you to come and learn the intricate techniques of Petrykivka painting, a Ukrainian decorative painting style. The class will go over a brief history of Petrykivka, basic brushstrokes, compositions and display the use of traditional materials. In this workshop you will create your own Petrykivka art, taking home a beautiful piece of Ukrainian culture!
