Officially the Kingdom on Thailand, and formally known as Siam, it is a country in the center of the Indochinese peninsula in Southeast Asia. It is the 20th-most-populous country in the world with around 69 million people. In accordance with the 2000 US Census, over 150 thousand Thai people are living in the United States. We in the Willamette Valley are especially lucky to have Wat Buddha Oregon in our backyard - who has helped us curate our Sawasdee Thailand Exhibit.
We will also have over 50 individual artifacts from Thailand for sale in our gallery. We will carry everything from small key chains, to some unique art piece's from Thailand's own Pongsakul (bas) Chalao. 100% of net proceeds will go to the Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women (located in Bangkok) who's main mission is to provide temporary shelter, food, and physical & mental rehabilitation services to women and children.
The Exhibit is open from October 4, 2017 to January 17, 2018. We are open Monday through Friday. The hours are from 10:00am - 5:00pm.
If you would like to visit us during Saturday, please call us at (503) 581-2004 to schedule and appointment.
